I bought this yarn from a cute little shop in Minneapolis called I Like You. The tag didn't specify which breed of sheep this wool came from, but it is really chunky worsted weight, and it made bootees that would probably fit a small toddler. I used size 3 aluminum needles and plastic buttons from JoAnn Fabrics. The bootee with buttons is slightly faded because I tried to felt it (and failed) but it washed out a bit of the dye. If I were to do it over again I would have skipped the felting... In fact, if I were to do it over again, I would probably not make bootees out of this yarn. Maybe a hat? Hmm.

Along with adorable locally handspun yarn, I Like You features pieces made by local artists. There were baby clothes, jewelry, feather extensions, t-shirts... I highly recommend checking it out if you are a cute-aholic like myself.
Another reason to visit the shop: They have a swing. In the store. It was absolutely magical.
